Our History
Founded in 1978, our family-run business has been serving the Shropshire and surrounding community for over half a century.
Originally established by Tony "Boe" Birch, a skilled tradesman with a passion for groundwork and brickwork, our company quickly
built a reputation for quality craftsmanship and reliable service. Starting out as a one-man operation, Tony’s commitment to
excellence laid the foundation for what we are today.
For decades, we specialised in groundwork and brickwork, helping to shape the landscape of local communities, one project
at a time. From building sturdy foundations to crafting beautiful brickwork for homes and businesses, we have always prided
ourselves on delivering work that stands the test of time. Some of our earliest projects still stand as a testament to the care
and attention we put into every job. Over the years, we expanded our services to meet the growing needs of our clients while
remaining true to our roots in traditional craftsmanship.
In 2014, Tony stepped back from the day-to-day running of the business, and his son, Joshua Birch, took over operations.
Having grown up learning the trade from his father, Joshua brought both experience and a fresh perspective to the business.
Under his leadership, we continued to modernise while staying true to the values that have been our hallmark since the beginning.
In 2021, we transitioned to a limited company, marking a new chapter in our journey. This change was not just about growth
but also about preserving our legacy for future generations. After the passing of our founder, Tony, Joshua stepped up to
carry forward the family tradition, ensuring that the principles of hard work, attention to detail, and dedication to our
clients remained at the heart of our business.
